Covid- 19 Updates
Please read below for any updates regarding postal times etc. The most important thing you need to know is we are continuing to dispatch orders as quickly as we can!
Wednesday 25th June
We have made the decision to start dispatching to beyond Europe. If your country is not listed please contact us for a quote. Please note prices have been altered due to price increases with Royal Mail.
Tuesday 9th June
Orders are continuing to be sent in a speedy manner but may take up to 2 working days to be dispatched. We are trying our best to keep items in stock however due to air freight being grounded around the world, stock is having to come by alternative methods and take up to a month to arrive to us.
We currently have restrictions on international orders with only orders going to Europe being offered. We will reassess this in the coming weeks to see if the delays are improving to outwith Europe.
Wednesday 15th April
We are continuing to dispatch orders as quickly as possible with the majority of orders starting their journey within 36 hours excluding weekends.
Please be aware that due to the current worldwide health situation the postal service is CONSIDERABLY slower in some areas due to staff shortages and social distancing measures. Some parcels are taking a lot longer to arrive with some first class taking 10-12 working days! Please keep this in mind while you wait for your arrival as we will be unable to consider a parcel missing until 15 working days.
We receive a lot of messages saying "I've received other mail but not yours". Please remember post is being dispatched to you from all areas of the country. It may get from one place quicker than from another because of the staff levels in the various depots and distribution centres. Staff levels can also vary on a daily basis so one day a depot may be managing well and then the next have a high level of absence.
Friday 27th March
We have been informed as of Monday 30th March the Royal Mail Collections in our area will be earlier than usual (time to be confirmed) which means sadly we may not be able to dispatch some orders as quickly as normal however we will ensure they will be in the next available mail bag.
Please also be aware Royal Mail are working on a scaled back service which means delivery times may take longer than usual depending on the siutation at your local depot. This is out of our control so please be aware of this when ordering.
Tuesday 24th March
After last night’s governmental announcement we have received lots of messages asking if we will continue to dispatch orders... the answer is yes. The government has stated online retail is to continue and is encouraged. We are fortunate enough that we are a small family business that works from a premises at home and therefore do not have face to face contact with the public. We will continue to monitor the situation however we know that crafting and sewing is a huge comfort to those currently restricted in their homes and we want to ensure you have what you need through this time. Thank you to everyone who has placed orders in the last few weeks. We really do appreciate the support you have shown us when small businesses need it more than ever.
